Terms & Conditions

General requirements:

 A current and valid U.S. Driver’s license.
 Renters must be at least 25 years of age.
 Renters must download and create a "Turo" account.
 To operate in NY (NOT in CT) , renters must always hold a motorcycle license and wear a full-face helmet while riding our Slingshot.
 Only authorized renters under the rental agreement can operate the Slingshot.
 Renters agree not to perform stunts of any kind on the Slingshots including but not limited to, drifting or burnouts.
 Medical insurance is not provided and is the responsibility of the renter.
 All coverage and waivers are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract.

Reservations:

 Reservations are dependent on slingshot availability
 Reservations made by paying $40 per day plus Turo fees in advance through the Turo app or website. Remaining rental fee is paid in full on pick up date.
 Rental pick ups are at 9:00 AM and drop-off's are at 9:00 PM or 8:00 AM the following morning.
 Renters allowed 200 miles per day rented. Any mileage over the full day limit will be charged based on the Turo policy.
 Slick Slingshot Rentals LLC does not sell, share, distribute, give away, or transmit renter information to third parties, except to process payment of rental.
 We accept all major credit cards.
 We do not accept any form of Check.
 Slick Slingshot Rentals LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Security Deposit:

Turo charges a security deposit based on the auto-insurance score, trip details, and other factors. Not all renters will be charged this security deposit.
A $500 refundable cash security deposit is charged for all overnight rentals upon pickup
The security deposit will only be used, in the event of loss or damage to the vehicle or equipment during the term of this agreement, towards covering any deductible on the renter’s insurance and loss of rental income while the vehicle is under repair.

Return and Cancellation Policies:

 You can cancel a trip free or change the rental date at no cost if done with more then 24 hours notice.
 If you book a trip within 24 hours of the start time, you have one hour after booking to cancel penalty free.
 If you cancel outside the free cancellation period, we’ll charge you in line with Turo's Cancellation policies.
 If running late, CALL US. Turo requires to update the pick up time. Slingshots will be held for 30 minutes beyond the scheduled reservation time. Slingshots must be returned at the scheduled 9:00 PM time.
 If the vehicle is not returned at the agreed-upon time, the renter will be charged based on Turo's late policies. Renter will be allowed a 30 minutes grace period before the late fee is put into effect.

Slingshot Operational Policies

 Before you get on the Slingshot, we will show you the tire pressures and gas levels.
 Your rental will be provided with a full tank of PREMIUM fuel. Refill is necessary.
 Please report any mechanical problems to us immediately.
 Renters required to inspect the Slingshot before riding it. If it has a flat or leak do not ride the Slingshot. Renters may be held responsible for mechanical damage by not adhering to inspecting the Slingshot before riding it. If it has a flat or leak do not ride it.
 Lost key- replacement cost plus any rental income lost while slingshot is not operating.
 Lost Gas Cap is $100.00.
 Rims- $200 per rim for curb rash.
 Any damage or scraps to Slingshot is $300 or more.
 Refuel cost is $30.00.
 Excessive tire wear from misuse will result in you being charged for a replacement tire plus installation.
 If you get a ticket or run a toll you are responsible for it. Should you not handle it in a timely manner Slick Slingshot Rentals LLC will add a $75.00 processing fee.
 Flat tires are not covered.
 Towing is not covered.
